Flux Federation Looking for IT Support Lead at New Zealand Full Time

Who we’re looking for:

We’re on the lookout for an experienced IT Support Lead to join our team. This role can be based anywhere in New Zealand.

As the IT Support Lead you’ll play a key role in supporting the secure and smooth running of Flux. This is a hands-on leadership role where you get to apply systems thinking, planning, problem solving and customer service skills.

This is a critical position;

• Supporting secure and effective running of business applications, services and software
• Enabling the rest of the business to focus on their areas of expertise and responsibility

Key responsibilities:

• Align IT planning to company objectives and deliver measurable results.
• Keeps senior management informed with detailed and accurate reporting.
• Working collaboratively across the business to ensure that projects are coordinated and aligned with organisational objectives.
• Provides leadership and manages direct reports.
• Understand business needs and identify an IT roadmap.
• Responsible for the Governance and Practices across key IT systems to ensure they are managed effectively and are secure at all times.
• Manage our IT Systems so they are secure, cost effective and enable Fluxters to be effective in their roles.
• Proactive vendor review and management.
• Application, services, software and hardware lifecycle tracking and licence management.
• Participate in, and support, compliance and audits e.g. ISO27001 and PCI-DSS.
• Provide end user support and materials.
• Assist in the management of any security incidents.
• Manage the priority of IT Support requests and respond appropriately.
• Administration of Flux applications, which includes creating, managing the system access & permissions.

Knowledge, experience and skills that we are looking for:

• Excellent organisational and personal management skills
• Strong communicator
• 2+ years experience as an administrator for Google Workspace, Jira and Confluence and ideally administrator experience with VMWare WorkspaceOne and CarbonBlack
• Proven history of self-direction and problem solving
• Excellent time management including the ability to determine the priority or work and meet deadlines
• Proven ability to act as a role model for team members, demonstrating excellence in communication, listening skills and leadership ability
• Systems analysis experience
• Working knowledge of ISO27001 and PCI DSS controls
• Strong computer, hardware, software, and analytical skills both iOS and Windows
• Experience installing, configuring, documenting, testing, training, and implementing new applications and systems
