As the Operation Coordinator, you will encompass a wide variety of tasks to support all different departments/levels within the Fongo Organization. You will also be the customers first point of contact and will manage the responsibility for maintaining open communication with customers and ensuring that requests are sent to and executed by the right departments. Type of role: Mixed, remote and on site 1-2 days a week. Our office is in Waterloo, On.

What you will do:

• Manage correspondence with customers including calls, emails, and other inquiries.
• Act as the customer ambassador and relay pertinent information to the internal team, working together to provide timely solutions
• Processing and responding to requests from regulatory and enforcement authorities
• Delegating the above requests to the appropriate teams as well as ensuring that the team follows up in a timely manner.
• Aggregating data from external sites to assist other teams with their monthly report creation
• Communicating on behalf of Fongo with external business and entities in a timely manner
• Potential occasional on call time for Emergency call requests (these typically only happen once a week)
• Packaging and shipping ordered products to customers (this would require some time on site at the office)
• Drive the Fongo mission and support business needs by working together with the team across all departments

Qualifications:

• Must have a College Diploma or equivalent
• Preference given to those with Office Administration Diploma
• Proficient in a Windows or Mac environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Ability to quickly learn new software and processes
• Ability to gather and understand client needs and requirements
• You should be a people person who enjoys working builds strong relationships
• Great team player

Bonus Qualifications (but in no way a deal breaker)

• Knowledge of a ticketing system such as Zendesk
• Proficiency in French
