About the opportunity
When our products are ready to ship, we are supported by our team of professional forklift drivers across our New Zealand Distribution Centres. With safety, customer service and quality at the forefront, their role is crucial in ensuring that we keep our dairy products moving around New Zealand and the world.
They are a highly motivated and well organized team who know the importance of getting the right products to the right place at the right time. Driving modern forklifts, with ultramodern technology supporting them and working across a variety of shift rosters, key responsibilities are:
Loading and unloading pallets to ensure they are stored correctly
Picking/packing and sending products to the correct location efficiently and accurately
Effective fleet management
Stock quality management
About you
The team are looking for another professional forklift operator to join them. You will need to be passionate about what you do, and you will be future focused on making a positive contribution to our business every day. We’ll offer you a varied role, where no two days are the same but there are some things that you will need for us to consider you:
An F endorsed forklift license and current OSH Certificate
A minimum 6-month forklift experience working in a warehouse or distribution centre environment
Extensive experience working in a fast paced environment
Be physically fit as our products can weigh up to 25kg
This is a rostered shift role Monday-Friday 6am-3pm, plus every third Saturday. giving you a great opportunity for work/balance and time to enjoy all that Northland has to offer. Some longer shifts may be available at times during the peak season.
