About the opportunity

We now have an exciting permanent opportunity for a Stores Charge Hand to help drive outstanding results at our Crawford Cool DC. Be part of Fonterra’s most technologically advanced distribution centre operating with fully automated robot racking. Your great attitude along with your attention to detail will mean our stores will stay well organised and the right products will get out on schedule.

Key responsibilities include:

• Administering inventory and order management systems
• Interact with the automation interface and drive problem solving when needed
• Liaising with other stores, planners, supply chain and factories to coordinate movement of orders
• Stock quality and compliance management, role modelling Health and Safety best practice
• Identifying and participating in process improvement/operational excellence activities
• Some staff management responsibilities

About you

We’ll offer you a varied role where no two days are the same, but there are some things that you will need for us to consider you:

• An F endorsed forklift license and current OSH Certificate
• Solid experience working in a warehouse or distribution centre environment
• A flexible, can-do attitude and willingness to support teams cross-functionally
• Leadership skills and a resilient nature – comfortable in a changing, fast-paced work environment
