Foodstuffs South Island Looking for Retail Supervisor – Raeward Fresh Harewood at McLeans Island, Canterbury, New Zealand Full Time

We are looking for a highly motivated and professional person to join our team at Raeward Fresh Harewood!

Raeward Fresh Harewood is a locally owned, family run business. In addition to our popular Café and growing Wholesale division, we have a busy retail store, and are offering a permanent, full time position as part of our team in the store.

The role is full time, 40 hours, Sunday – Thursday, 10.00am – 6.30pm

Your responsibilities will include:

• supporting departments where needed, for example helping out in Produce, or opening an additional Checkout lane during busy periods.
• organising and performing the closing process for Produce.
• assisting the dry goods team, including stock filling and rotation, and display changes.
• stocktaking.
• providing exceptional customer service.
• maintaining high cleanliness and presentation standards in the store, ensuring adherence to Food Safety and Health & Safety processes.
• closing the store on occasion.

To be successful you will be:

• able to demonstrate previous experience in a retail/FMCG environment.
• a team player, able to support and collaborate with the rest of the team.
• physically fit as there will be lifting and manual handling tasks.
• committed towards maintaining and strengthening the work environment, embracing all Health and Safety practices
• excellent at time management, with the ability to multitask and prioritise.
• reliable & punctual.
• a holder of a current Duty Manager’s certificate (this is not a must but would be an advantage).
