• Collaborate on and drive best-practice solution implementation for data and system architecture, system administration, and schedule management.
• Understand solution vision and provide technical analysis to translate solutions into plans for design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Data analysis and extract as needed
• Provide pre-deployment code reviews, ensuring QA standards are met by all team members.
• Perform testing and provide guidance on testing efforts by less senior team members.
• Produce adequate documentation to ensure business continuity processes are de-risked.

Your capability

• Cognos experience essential
• Tertiary Qualification, preferably with an IT Major
• Proficient with Data Warehouse concepts including star schema models
• Knowledge and experience in Software Engineering
• Experience with IBM Datastage, SQL Server, MS SSIS, MS Analysis Services and Control M
• Experience with AWS Technologies including S3, Glacier, Redshift and EMR desirable
