Data Entry Specialist
Freight Forwarding experience is essential for the position
Monday to Friday – hours can suit 5am to 1pm or 6am to 2pm – the reason is so the clients can login to see how there shipments are progressing
Responsible for 10 to 15 global clients

About the job
Our client is seeking a data entry specialist. This is a full-time position, non-manual work and a great opportunity to develop your career within the transportation logistics industry. This position will work primarily in the Cargowise system, therefore previous working experience is required.

Position Purpose:
This position will assist with coordinating delivery of air & sea import consignments in accordance to customer requests in a timely manner. This position will be responsible for delivering service excellence through communication with shippers, vendors and overseas partners/ agents.

Responsibilities

Handle data entry into cargowise1 system

Assist with customer service requests for shipping consignments

Analyze and import export/ import data intro cargowise1

Track and trace shipments

Serve as first point of contact for customer service requests

Communicate with truckers for Proof of Delivery

Proactively provide live updates on milestones in system

May identify transactions and tasks that require special handling, recommend improved processes to management, and implement resolutions within assigned scope of responsibility

Perform all other duties as assigned by management on a day to day basis

This position may require weekend rotations and working across various time zones

Qualifications

Essentially 1+ years of industry related experience

Knowledge of related computer applications (excel, Cargowise, SAP)

Cargowise experience is required

Strong attention to detail

Strong customer service background

Highly motivated and results driven

Work well under pressure and able to multitask

Decisive and accountable
