The Client –

KidsCan, a leading organisation dedicated to supporting schools and early childhood education centres (ECEs), is seeking an exceptional individual to fill the role of Programmes Manager due to an internal promotion. Responsibilities

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced leader to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our impactful initiatives. As the Programmes Manager, you will be at the forefront of leading the programmes team and driving continuous improvement. Your responsibilities will include:

• Strategic Leadership – in formulating and implementing annual plans aligned with KidsCan’s vision
• Team Management – by leading and inspiring a collaborative team for optimal program delivery
• Collaboration – working closely with teams across the organisation to foster the One Team environment
• Financial and Resource Management – overseeing budget allocation and resource efficiency
• Program Performance and Reporting – establishing metrics and providing data-driven insights
• Continuous Improvement – evaluating program impact and customer insights to ensure our programmes are fit for purpose and benefit the children we aim to suppory

Who are You?

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in managing social impact programmes, teams and financial resources, ideally in government or a relevant NGO
• Inspires and motivates diverse teams, fostering collaboration, values measurement of performance and customer engagement for continuous improvement
• Understands Māori and Pacifica culture, ensuring culturally responsive programs
• Demonstrating a proven track record in implementation of organisational strategic plans
• Your strong analytical skills enable data-driven decision-making, while exceptional communication and negotiation skills ensure effective stakeholder engagement
• You will be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, and utilise a tech-savvy approach to optimising program delivery and management through software applications
