Key Responsibilities

• Operate MRI machines to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Guide and support patients through MRI procedures, addressing any questions
• Follow physician orders to select the appropriate imaging methods
• Ensure accurate record-keeping of patient details and procedures
• Perform routine maintenance and quality checks on MRI equipment

Requirements

• You MUST have a tertiary level, Post-graduate Qualification in MRI from a recognised provider
• Successful candidates will already have registration with the NZ MRTB as an MRI Technologist
• Siemens and GE equipment experience is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of MRI safety protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with MRI equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
