Frontline Looking for Registered Nurse at Auckland, Auckland, New Zealand Full Time

Our client is seeking an experienced urgent care and GP nurse to join their team of roving nurses through some of their Auckland clinics. If you enjoy doing agency work at different sites but want something more stable, this is a great opportunity for you. Likewise we also have an opportunity for an experienced Practice Nurse at a single site

About The Role

• Working hours will vary slightly depending on clinics, needs to be comfortable working between 8am – 8pm, occasional night shifts may be included in the roster.
• Limited weekend shifts split between the team, with penal rates on offer
• Complete accurate nursing assessments and provide interventions
• Perform primary/ urgent care duties e.g. immunisations, smear taking, health checks, wound management, plastering, triaging etc
• Support and educate patients and families to promote wellbeing

Skills And Experience

• NZ registered nurse with a current annual practicing certificate
• As this is a roving position we are seeking an experienced nurse in NZ, ideally with prior acute and primary care experience
• Authorised vaccinator/ smear taker is advantageous
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to work well under pressure with resilience and tenacity
• Team player committed to providing excellent service
