Lead and enhance patient care delivery, foster team collaboration, and drive operational excellence in a private hospital working Mon-Fri.

This private hospital in growth mode is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join their team as a Ward Team Leader. As the Ward Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing their dedicated team, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of their ward services. This is a full-time position, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of exceptional healthcare services. Unfortunately this role is not suitable for CAP Graduates.

What You Have To Do

• Manage all staff across the ward including HR management and staffing
• Capex management
• Be clinically hands on 2-3 days a week across all types of cases
• Foster team collaboration, enhance patient care delivery and drive operational excellence
• Provide strong and inspirational leadership to a team of 24 staff members
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the ward services to ensure high standards of patient care and satisfaction.
• Monitor and evaluate service delivery against established key performance indicators.
• Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination of services

Skills And Experience

• NZ registered nurse with current Annual Practicing Certificate
• Open to those from other sectors of the perioperative environment with transferable skills
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards
