Order Entry Agent
Compensation: $18.00-23.00/hr + up to $3,000 in annual bonuses
Location: Minneapolis, KS

G.L. Huyett is a master distributor and manufacturer of industrial fasteners with an ambitious growth strategy. We are seeking energetic action-oriented people who like working with others to solve problems. In the role of Order Entry Agent, you work with emailed, faxed, and portal-based customer orders to ensure accurate, complete, and timely order fulfillment. There is a two-track training program—one to learn the computer system to navigate these affairs; and second, to learn product to achieve subject matter expert status. It is a fast-paced and invigorating work environment with an excellent team-based culture dedicated to your continuing professional development. This is a business-to-business role, so customers generally are pleasant and professional. Building relationships through time is a rewarding part of the job. It is a traditional workday schedule with all the normal paid holidays and no nights or weekends. This role has development potential to move into more complex layers of customer service functions such as: Phone Team, Key Accounts, Strategic Quotes, Sales Engineer, or managerial roles.
