Overview
We are seeking a full-time Associate Sales Manager for the RV/Recreational Products market. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting Sales Directors and National Accounts Sales Managers in selling our products and performing related duties.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions
Develop and maintain effective internal/external relationships with key business partners
Prepare, maintain and deliver sales presentations for use in various applications
Prepare and maintain Garmin items and promotions in dealer portals and systems
Establish and maintain dealer relationships and support sales objectives of Garmin
Educate dealers on new and future products and ensure that dealers are equipped for product transitions with item information, images and other set up items
Production and time management reporting
Able to travel, coordinate, and represent Garmin at industry and professional meetings, trade shows, conferences, dealer events, and retail training events and complete timely and succinct trip and status reports
Achieve and maintain excellent product and pricing knowledge and project management as assigned
Provide dealer coverage when National Sales Managers are out of the office
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree AND a minimum of 1 year experience in sales and marketing
Demonstrated RV/Recreational industry knowledge
Demonstrated knowledge in outdoor and/or technology marketplace
Proven track record in meeting/exceeding sales targets/goals
Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with demonstrated ability to present to large groups
Excellent time management, follow-up, and analytical skills
Must be positive, detail and quality oriented, organized, team oriented and a driven problem solver, multi-tasker, and self-starter with the ability to prioritize and work proactively in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment
Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite and Oracle
Desired Qualifications
Business to business sales experience
Personal experience in navigation products, hunting, hiking and outdoor activities
Excellent product knowledge of communication and navigation systems
