Responsibilities:
· Payroll administration and time tracking; Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonuses, leaves, etc.)
· Works with Human Resources professionals to administer employment-related policies, procedures, and processes.
· Responsible for answering the phones and taking effective notes.
· Filing and scanning confidential documents.
· Administer performance evaluation processes
· Compliance activities, e.g., EEO-1 annual filing, maintenance of other records, reports, logs, etc.
· Handles administrative aspects of benefits, payroll, and timekeeping and assists with unemployment, workers’ comp, leaves of absence, garnishments, wage/hour administration, regulatory compliance, audits, etc.
· Organizes/maintains employee files, ensuring background checks and confidential, accurate, secure files.
· Maintain OSHA logs, support safety program, respond to claims and issues, and manage safety program, as needed.
· Maintains I-9 documentation per applicable standards
· Ensure hires, terminations, status changes, wage changes, etc., are handled timely, accurately, and with documentation. Review applicable reports and invoices for accuracy
· Helps plan and coordinate general meetings, staff gatherings, holiday parties, and events
· Assist in researching job descriptions, conduct salary surveys, reviewing job postings, pre-screening, and interviewing candidates.
· Process and evaluate background checks and MVR
· Managing Benefits and Workers’ Compensation Administration.
· Payroll entry as well as serve as a backup for payroll processing.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or Business Administration preferred
· Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus
· Exceptional organizational skills
· Fully proficient in Microsoft Office. Tech savvy is very important.
· Professional and customer service oriented
· Experience with performance management, HR systems, and compensation is a plus!

Pay: $50,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
