We are excited to offer a unique growth opportunity for an experienced Project Administrator within the Engineering Organization. We are looking for a driven, organized, and experienced procurement professional to join the Project Control Group within the Mechanical Engineering Department of GA-ASI. The Project Control Group acts as the spearhead for Engineering requirements collaboration in project planning and execution activities. Business processes include those required to identify and support Design and Development planning and execution activities. The Project Administrator will support engineering project procurements, advocate for competition, and represent engineering to the Procurement Organization. Within this role, they will have the opportunity to network with others, communicate regularly with leadership, compile data for SOWs, help shape group processes, and contribute to the creation of tools.
Administers daily operational aspects of one or more ongoing projects; develops, designs and schedules project plan; may be assigned project leadership.
Integrates and analyzes project plans to ensure milestones and delivery requirements are met; ensures that all the key parties are advised.
Evaluates and interprets factors then selects the method and technique with which to analyze data and situations and develops new or innovative solutions; influences and guides on appropriate action(s) to be taken.
Develops new concepts, techniques, standards, practices and procedures to ensure operational effectiveness.
Develops appropriate electronic and hard copy reports and records.
Participates in changes/updates/modifications to policies and practices.
Represent the organization as a prime contact with outside organizations; makes internal and external presentations as required.
Provides direction to support and less experienced professional staff.
Maintains the strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.

Job Qualifications:
Typically requires a bachelors degree in Business Administration or a related discipline and ten or more years of progressive professional project administration experience. Equivalent professional experience may be substituted in lieu of education.
Must demonstrate a broad understanding of project administration principles, theories, concepts and techniques. Must have experience organizing, planning, scheduling, conducting, and coordinating work assignments to meet project milestones or established completion dates.
Must possess the ability to understand new concepts quickly and apply them in an evolving environment while contributing to the development of new processes.
Must be customer focused and possess: the ability to identify issues, analyze data and develop solutions to a variety of complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation; strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills to accurately document, report, and present findings; strong interpersonal skills enabling an effective interface with other professionals; and strong computer skills.
Ability to work independently or in a team environment is essential.
Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Security clearance is required.
