Position Title : Powerhouse Summer Vacation Relief

Facility : Oshawa Operations – Powerhouse

Duties and responsibilities:

• Requires a working knowledge of high pressure steam boilers, air compressors, and all auxiliary equipment in a First Class Power Plant.
• Able to assist in the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of all Powerhouse Equipment
• Perform housekeeping and other tasks under the direction of the Powerhouse Shift Engineer or Powerhouse Maintenance Leader

Preferred Skills and Abilities:

• Able to work a rotating shift schedule 24/7
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills
• Energetic and self-motivated
• Able to work independently and as part of a team

  Successful candidates will be required to attest to, and be prepared to provide proof of their vaccination status and that any job offer will be conditional on the candidate being fully vaccinated.

• Completion of a 4th Class Power Engineering Program from an accredited college
