Genesis10 Looking for Software Dev Engineer I – New York, NY at New York, NY Full Time

Looking for a Software Development Engineer, who will act as first level support and development for all incoming production software application issues dealing with retail notification applications.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop monitoring solutions, troubleshooting/debugging and implementing the fix for internally developed code (Perl, C/C++, JAVA), performing SQL queries, improving our systems that gather metrics on our features, updating, tracking and resolving technical challenges.
• Responsibilities also include working alongside development on Amazon Corporate and Divisional Software projects, updating/enhancing our current software, automation of support processes and documentation of our systems.
  

Basic Qualifications:

• Computer Science or equivalent degree
• 2+ years of SDE experience
• JAVA, HTML, CSS, JAVASCRIPT coding experience
• full stack engineering experience
• Advanced knowledge of SQL Queries
• Has mentoring/ leadership experience
• FreeMarker Templates (FTL) skills & experience
• Retail TPM background & experience, Retail/customer experience, Front-end notifications
• Has delivered multiple full stack projects
• The ideal candidate is interested in a career in software development and is looking to utilize and expand their coding skills and gain exposure to a wide variety of software applications.
• Detail oriented, superior verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, are able to work independently and can maintain professionalism under pressure.
• AWS and Python knowledge

Compensation: $54.00 per hour
