As Data Analyst – ElasticSearch in the DevOps team you will help us to contribute to GeoComply’s success by ensuring continuous development and improvement of our products. The ideal candidate should take responsibility and always see a path forward to success. You will maintain open communication with your team members and cross-functional stakeholders.
What You Will Be Doing
Work on ingesting, storing, processing, and analyzing large data sets;
Monitoring performance and advising any necessary infrastructure changes;
Defining data retention, data governance policies, and framework.
About You
2+ years of work experience as Data Analyst;
Education or training in a relevant field;
Experience in writing and executing metric and bucket aggregations, sub-aggregations
Experience in writing and executing search terms, phrases, Boolean queries
Experience in analyzing ElasticSearch search queries
Experience in using search templates,index templates, dynamic index templates
Experience in writing and using ingest pipelines
Experience in Index Lifecycle Management policy
Experience in role-based access control using Elasticsearch Security
Experience in data preparation, data analysis, data cleaning, data transformation from multiple source
Experience in optimizing data, reduce data, aggregate data
Experience in building reports based on the customer needs.
Experience in working with GEO data, GEO distance, GEO polygons
Experience in ElasticSearch SQL, optimizing the SQL, understanding how to rewrite the SQL into DSL
Experience in building different types of Kibana Dashboards, Visualization.
Experience in programming language (i.e., Python )
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
Highly organized and detail-oriented;
Strong ability to operate independently and make clear and thoughtful decisions;
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in English (both verbal and written), with the ability to effectively communicate complex information in a simple manner.
Bonus Points if You
Experience in big and complex data sets analysis Delta Lake and Spark;
Experience in risk management and fraud detection.
