George Weston Foods Hiring for Assistant Packer Job at Canterbury , New Zealand Full Time

This is a full time, permanent role for a Assistant Packer at our Otahuhu Bakery.

Key responsibilities include:

• Moving product to and from the loading zones.
• Picking product to order level.
• Sufficient stocks of crates and dollies are in place at the correct locations to commence order picking.
• Minimise waste through ensuring adherence to good manufacturing practices.
• Ensure all work is conducted in a safe and tidy manner, and that the highest standards of food safety are maintained.

• Sound communication skills – both written and oral.
• High standard of numeracy and literacy
• Attention to detail (Good standards of checking, monitoring and recording)

Experience working in a dispatch/warehouse environment or similar is advantageous as well as having used SAP or similar.
