Our company is actively searching for a dynamic and motivated Frontend Engineer to join our thriving and collaborative agile development team. In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in crafting, maintaining, and enhancing our cutting-edge software platform. As a Frontend Engineer, your primary focus will be on implementing, designing, and ensuring the technical excellence of the frontend elements within our software.

Responsibilities

Craft high-quality, scalable, and reusable code adhering to best practices, with a keen eye for creating flawless user interfaces.

Collaborate closely with internal and external API and backend engineers, establishing best practices for models and contracts.

Work collaboratively to design and plan new user interfaces, ensuring they are performant, responsive, user-friendly, and align with style guidelines.

Engage actively in a fast-paced agile team environment through pull requests, scrum ceremonies, and feature documentation.

Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of high-quality features.

Demonstrate the ability to effectively translate needs between technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

Must be a United States Citizen.

Possess a minimum of 3 years of professional experience building responsive, user-friendly web applications.

Proficient understanding of foundational front-end development technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Significant experience with JavaScript frameworks, utilizing libraries like jQuery, React, or Vue.

Experience applying best practices when working with REST APIs.

Proven track record of building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.

Expertise in developing secure web applications and understanding of application vulnerabilities, such as Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) and Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF).

Knowledgeable about git and its principles.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field, or equivalent work or military experience.
