Position: Software Engineer – Back-End and API

About The Role

We are on the lookout for a talented Software Engineer with expertise in back-end development and API integration to join our dynamic Development Team. As a Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and building scalable web platforms, crafting robust back-end infrastructure for applications that cater to a diverse user base.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the production team to define software architecture and develop scalable web platforms and back-end infrastructure applications.

Create reusable back-end services, ensuring they are composable and deliver data effectively to front-end applications.

Craft logical and elegant code modules that are easily maintainable.

Utilize version control and documentation for transparent communication of code updates.

Provide project updates and recommendations professionally, addressing client questions and issues competently.

Validate and ensure compliance with back-end development requirements as per the Statement of Work (SOW).

Monitor project progress, anticipating challenges, and working with management to resolve issues.

Identify and troubleshoot development issues or bugs.

Demonstrate advanced technical understanding of multiple programming and development resources.

Assist in the creation of product documentation and resources for user guides, manuals, and setup guides.

Take ownership of tasks, milestones, and deliverables to ensure project expectations and deadlines are met.

Display resourcefulness and adaptability to quickly learn and respond to project issues, changes, or updates.

Occasional travel may be required (up to 20%).

Requirements

Other responsibilities as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.

3+ years of experience in back-end engineering and programming.

Preferred Experience With Node.js (equivalent Technologies Will Be Considered).

Experience in creating microservices and containerizing services with Docker.

Knowledge of orchestration tools such as Kubernetes is a plus.

Familiarity with C# is a bonus.

Experience with cloud services like AWS and Azure is advantageous.
