Responsibilities
Develop a robust web-based application with features such as habitat and easement compliance monitoring data upload.
Create a public-facing interface that enables landowners to conveniently enter necessary reporting information.
Generate detailed summary reports for project partners, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
Implement tracking mechanisms to monitor habitat protection targets and maintain compliance with conservation easement and management plans.
Incorporate functionality to track changes in habitat types and conditions, with a potential spatial component.
Utilize SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) to generate reports exportable to various formats such as Word, PDF, and Excel.
Migrate data from existing Excel spreadsheets to a SQL database, ensuring seamless data integration.
Requirements
A minimum of 6 years of professional work experience in web application development and support.
Successful completion of an Information Technology Certification program or relevant accredited college and/or graduate training may substitute for the required work experience.
A bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred, along with hands-on experience in web development.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
Strong knowledge of SQL and database management systems.
Familiarity with SSRS and the ability to generate dynamic reports.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
Strong attention to detail, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and error-free code.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Working Arrangement
For the first month, the successful candidate will be required to work onsite at our office in Salem, Oregon for training, access, and setup needs. After this initial period, the position offers a hybrid working arrangement, with the flexibility to work remotely up to three days a week, and two days required in the office. The standard working hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
