SUMMARY
As a Field Specimen Processor you will ensure safe collection and shipment of patient specimens in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner. You will serve as a liaison between patients, clients, and internal DRUGSCAN employees.

ATTRIBUTES
1 year of customer service experience preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

RESPONSIBILITIES
Patient Care. Greet and identify patients according to SOP.
Sample Collection & Shipment. Review test requisition for proper test collection. Assemble equipment necessary to collect specimen. Collect specimens for drug testing according to SOP. Match requisition to collection of tubes for completion. Prepare and package specimens for shipping to testing location according to SOP.
Documentation & Customer Service. Obtain billing and testing information according to SOP. Perform customer service duties to include phone inquiries and patient encounters. Perform daily, weekly, monthly maintenance and quality control of test kits and urinalysis equipment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSM – Medium Work – Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.
Pay Range$18.50 – $22.00
The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
