Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll primarily focus on building, customizing, and supporting various digital initiatives across responsive platforms, including desktop, tablet, and mobile. Additionally, you’ll be responsible for CMS customization and support. As a web developer with a PHP focus, your duties will encompass the entire deployment lifecycle, including:

Setting up and configuring various elements like EE, DNS, SSL, PHP, Plesk, hosting, server environments, and permissions.

Coding and programming using PHP/MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and efficiently troubleshooting and debugging issues.

Customizing and integrating CMS add-ons/extensions/modules, APIs, payment gateways, and XML.

Optimizing and ensuring compliance with quality control, versioning, staging, performance, security, and PCI standards.

Handling database administration tasks such as data imports/exports/synchronization, data manipulation, and backups.

Required Skills

Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, PHP/MySQL, and JavaScript (including jQuery).

Experience working with popular CSS pre-processors like Sass, LESS, and frameworks such as Bootstrap and Foundation.

Previous involvement in developing and deploying responsive websites.

The ability to work with and provide guidance on device detection, cookies, sessions, and CRON jobs.

A track record of writing clean, understandable, and cross-browser-compatible code.

An understanding and appreciation of the interplay between design and development, including responsive design principles.

Preferred Skills

Background in Object-Oriented Programming.

Prior exposure to API methods, protocols, integration, and support.

Experience with any of the following systems: ExpressionEngine, HubSpot, Magento, Shopify, SquareSpace, WordPress.

Familiarity with technologies like AJAX, CodeIgniter, Nginx, node.js, SOAP.

Proficiency in popular JavaScriptMVC frameworks such as angular.js, backbone.js, ember.js.

Ability to integrate and customize Google APIs, social media channels, and Salesforce.

Professional certifications and/or educational degrees.

Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite.
