We are seeking a skilled Web Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Web Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, creating, testing, and maintaining websites to facilitate effective communication with our customers. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with the team to gather requirements, selecting the most suitable web technologies, and ensuring compliance with laws and standards. This is a remote position supporting TL&D organizations in Colorado, Georgia, Hawaii, Texas, and other TL&D field sites.

Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Maintain a user-accessible website, ensuring functionality.

Code less complex websites using HTML, Visual Basic, or other web-based programming languages.

Support website planning and deployment.

Write documentation outlining technical requirements for the website.

Maintain technical documentation to assist with website maintenance and upgrades.

Develop, test, and support high-performance web-based applications.

Troubleshoot software problems and provide innovative solutions using the latest technologies.

Collaborate with management and information technologists to determine specifications.

Utilize various internet technologies, techniques, and tools to create web page elements.

Work independently on more complex projects.

Integrate new web products with existing applications to enhance website functionality and design.

Perform website usability testing to ensure quality assurance, accessibility, and prompt issue resolution.

Minimum Qualifications

Eight (8) years of experience as a Web Developer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. A bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline is required; alternatively, four (4) years of additional Web Developer experience may substitute for a Bachelor’s degree.

One (1) year of experience and/or training.

Five (5) years of experience with ColdFusion.

Five (5) years of experience with JavaScript.

Two (2) years of experience in SharePoint site development.
