The role is accountable for supporting the Technology Group’s Early Career Program, reporting to TG’s GIC Professional Program (GPP) Spons or and HROD’s Technology Data Cluster Lead Business Partner . You will have ke y ownership on all aspects of managing the junior talent in the Technology Group, which includes end-to-end strategy, talent management & development, and engagement with various internal stakeholders to ensure success of the junior pipeline for the Technology group.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Talent, Communication and Engagement

• Maintain key relationship and craft talent strategy with TG GPP Sponsor and TG Leadership on junior pipelines and strategy
• Partner with department leads and determine headcount for all junior pipeline programs
• Drive a strong culture and sense of camaraderie amongst the junior tech e.g. planning and execution of engagement activities etc.
• Provide guidance and institutionalize processes for TG managers to engage junior talent e.g. coffee/stay chats, keep managers updated on junior program initiatives
• Manage various pipeline programs (IAP/GIP/GPP) with TG managers

Talent Development

• Involved in coaching on career planning / development of juniors
• Implement strategies from candidate placement, mobility/rotation opportunities, engagement
• Identify learning and development requirements for junior talent

Stakeholder Partnership

• Partner HR on the overall talent strategy for junior tech talent
• Partner with the Graduate Recruitment team to craft campus recruiting strategy, diversity initiatives, design and participate in assessment activities.
• Participate in campus recruitment drive e.g. campus visit, GIC office tours etc.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition to craft lateral hiring junior hiring
• Partner with Employer Branding on the branding and engagement strategy for junior tech talent
• Partner with GIC School to ensure all aspects of junior training needs are planned and implemented

Requirements

• Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills, able to effectively collaborate and influence across stakeholders and teams to achieve goals and objectives
• Track record in managing junior campus programs (e.g. intern, industrial attachments, graduate programs, etc.)
• Keen interest in developing and coaching Technology junior talent
• Strong business acumen in Technology, capability to identify industry trends and opportunities
• Minimum 6 years of work experience in a multinational organization, with at least 3 years in a similar role preferred
• Experience in talent development, early career program manager or Human Resources preferred
• Desire to learn, working in a diverse environment, interacting with multiple teams and function to support strategic goals
