Role Profile
Reporting to the Head of Treasury, the Treasury Operations Senior Manager is responsible for the execution of critical funding transactions, cash management operations, business banking, FX exposure, risk management and functional capability development.
Key Responsibilities
Ownership of Front Office and Group operational cash management activity, with responsibility for debt funding requirements / settlements, inter-group settlements and the management of cash pool balances
Responsibility for Group cost of borrowing, to include optimisation, planning & interest rate risk management
Management of FX risk of the Group, ensuring accurate assessment of FX exposure, execution of required forward cover according to policy and management / optimisation of Group FX balances
Ownership of the overall Treasury risk management and controls framework, in addition to external compliance obligations
Oversight of in-house Bank infrastructure & operations, ensuring transactional integrity of inter-group cashflows & external settlements for weekly cash close
Responsibility for Treasury related reporting activity to include cost analytics, critical KPIs, management / board information and compliance related obligations
Key supporting role to the Head of Treasury in strategic financing decisions and the re-finance activity of the Group
Evolution of the organisational & technical development strategy of the Treasury organisation, to include ownership of the SAP Treasury Management platform
Monitoring of business banking service levels and conducting structured interactions with external banking parties to ensure optimal performance and fee optimisation
Manage team responsibilities, accountabilities & prioritisation of work
Key Requirements
Third level Finance related degree or Corporate Treasury related qualification or recognised accounting qualification
A minimum of 7 years of relevant treasury operations experience within either a transactional banking or a Corporate Treasury function (multinational environment) is essential for this role
Leadership competencies, with ability to manage team development & prioritisation
Ability to own the risk management platform for the Group
Strategic, commercial & cost-focused acumen
Collaborative approach, with capability to achieve common goals in partnership with others
