This role focuses on providing an excellent service to our students whether at our library desk, on the library floors or online, and engaging our students to ensure they get the best from their library experience.
To apply for this role you will have a friendly, approachable manner and be able to explain information and procedures to a wide range of customers. You will have excellent IT skills including the ability to use Microsoft Office packages, specifically Excel and Outlook, and be confident in the use of web browsers for advanced searching, information gathering and problem solving. You will have excellent team working skills and be able to work alone and show initiative to achieve the requirements of the post.
This part–time role is 20 hours per week and will involve working shifts on Mondays and Tuesdays 2pm – 8pm, Wednesdays and Thursdays 4pm – 8pm.
