The Faculty of Access and Continuing Learning are looking for an experienced individual to deliver Supported Education courses to a diverse range of student groups. The successful candidate will be required to be qualified and able to deliver on the HND Additional Support Needs course, as well as delivering lessons to students working at the entry levels of the SCQF framework.
The post holder will work closely with the Curriculum Manager to provide high quality learning and assessment opportunities that will enhance learning and teaching with a strong learner focus.
You will be educated to SCQF Level 8 or have relevant professional equivalent in the specialist area, or significant relevant experience in the specialist area. As an academic member of staff of Glasgow Clyde College you will aid excellence in learning through the preparation and delivery of high quality learning, teaching and assessment materials, and by supporting learners.
Successful candidates will demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, work to their own initiative and relate well to student groups. With excellent organisational skills and a proven ability to work under pressure, candidates must have a flexible and can do attitude to work and be qualified in their preferred subject area.
