Job Description:
Closing Date: Open until suitable candidate is found
Reporting to the office manager, the Office Administrator will be responsible for a variety of daily, weekly & monthly tasks.
Responsibilities:
· Accounts payable (including issuance of cheque runs)· Accounts receivable (issuance of invoices including collections & deposits)
· Preparation and submission of bi-weekly payroll
· Payroll remittances
· Reception duties
· Manage fuel cards and accounts
· Assist with preparing and issuing ROE’s
· Administrative support for General Manager, Office Manager & President
· Filing
· Occasional culvert sales/ordering
· Inventory tracking
· General office duties
· Assist with planning and organizing company meetings and events
· Maintain Safety Hours and assist with Safety Program
· Assist with maintaining ISNetworld and programs similar as needed
Qualifications & Skills:
· Education (preferred): Office or Business Administrative Certificate or Diploma
· Experience: 1 – 4 years minimum in an office environment
· Beginner to Intermediate skills in Sage 50 Accounting program. Willing to train the right person.
· Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook
· Strong computer literacy will be considered an asset
· Strong time management skills including the ability to work under pressure, multitask, proritizeprioritize daily tasks, andachieve quality results and meet deadlines.
· Ability to follow through and complete overlapping projects.
· Great organizational, time management and prioritizing skills
· Valid Class 5 driver’s license
· Must have a strong work ethic s and effective in working both independently and as part of a team
· Attention to detail is a must
· Ability to exercise maintain confidentiality
Working Conditions:
· Working hours are Monday to Friday
· Full time position. Approximately 30-40 hours per week and may fluctuate as workloads dictate
