OUR IMPACT

Property Management is responsible for operational management of the firms owned and leased real estate assets portfolio across EMEA. The role plays a key part in the delivery and management of workplace services. The team works closely with our Real Estate Strategy and Environmental and Social Governance (ESG) teams to optimise the workplace experience for our people and contribute to the firms environmental targets and smart building technology.

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

This position is based in our London Office and reports to the EMEA Facilities Lead, VP, and will be responsible for managing all aspects of Property Management for the EMEA region. Specifically, you will oversee a team of third party property management vendors responsible for the day to day operation, maintenance and sustainability of our workplace. This role will also be a key workplace client touchpoint across the internal divisions of the firm. You will partner with colleagues to craft and evolve our workplace strategy as well as being a key stakeholder working with our Real Estate Development teams for new office fit-outs and refurbishment. The role provides a great platform to grow and develop a career in Real Estate Property Management.

Property Management responsibilities:

• Ensure workplace standards are being delivered in line with Key Perfomanc Indicators and Standard Operating Procedures to elevate the experience of our employees, clients and visitors.
• Manage preventative maintenance activity programs and ensure compliance with both regulatory and business focused maintenance objectives.
• Implement global business focused strategies i.e. Integrated Service Delivery Model, Digital Integration Program etc.
• Supply Chain and 3rd Party Facilities vendor management providing property management operations services, ensuring that all work is performed in accordance with the firm’s policies.
• Leverage building data analytics to manage building operation and optimize the workplace experience for our people.
• Evaluate and evolve workplace operational standards to ensure the workplace continues to support Goldman Sachs culture and strategic goals.
• Participate in real estate planning, design, development and execution of capital projects, including consultant RFP/interview process, design review and construction/commissioning oversight.
• Project Management support of interiors fit-out, minor works and enhancement upgrade projects.
• Participate in development and management of annual operations and sustainment budgets across the EMEA portfolio.
• The role forms an integral part of the On-Site Solutions teams, including Hospitality Operations, Document Management Group, and a significant partnership with Engineering Technology across all aspects of daily work.

Incident Response/Crisis Management

• Assist in Crisis Management to identify potential/immediate impacts, restore operational capabilities and institute required safeguards.
• Assist in the management of critical incidents as part of a team coverage plan, escalation and evaluation of vendor’s response where business maybe exposed to risk from down-time of critical systems.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Basic Qualifications/Experience

• Experience in property management sector
• Possess the ability to understand fundamental building codes
• Ability to write reports, develop presentations, and communicate technical concepts to non-technical personnel is essential
• Strong communication skills
• Proficient with the suite of Microsoft Office software

Preferred Qualifications/Experience

• Membership of property management professional association
• Experience in managing Grade A commercial real estate
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work in a dynamic global environment with a focus on teamwork and a proactive approach and a high level of enthusiasm
