Goodman Looking for Control Room Operator at North Island Full Time

Our Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated individual to become a control room operator at our Longburn site reporting to the Process Manager. You will be involved in the day to day running of one of the five control room positions.

The hours of work are, 42hrs per week working 4 days on and 4 days off 2- day shifts 2-night shifts.

Key accountabilities of the role include:

• Ensuring our H & Safety practices are adhered to
• Checking all relevant paperwork is completed
• Maintaining a high level of Plant cleanliness
• Blending of products
• Setting and sending of products to another department
• Help with other jobs as required

The successful applicant will have:

• Processing/ Manufacturing experience , preferably in the dairy industry(desirable)
• Physically fit, able to lift 25kg bags into blending hopper
• Be quality conscious and customer focused
• Problem solving skills and the ability to work well with other departments
• Good computer literacy
