The Employer Services Branch is seeking a dynamic, competent and highly motivated individual to work as an Employer Services Consultant in a fast paced environment. In this role you will provide client focused service to Saskatchewan employers who are looking for solutions to their workforce needs.

Specific responsibilities include the following:

• Conduct research and analysis on specific employers and entire sectors to identify opportunities to more effectively develop, recruit and retain workers;
• Provide employers and industry associations with tools and support for workforce planning and navigating the plethora of programs and services available through government;
• Identify preferred domestic and international labour pools for talent sourcing;
• Provide support for local recruitment fairs and overseas labour recruitment efforts;
• Provide recommendations to management regarding policy adjustments to optimize workforce development strategies and programing; and
• Develop appropriate assessment techniques to measure and report on effectiveness of government programs/services and account management efforts.

Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:

• Knowledge of labour market needs within various sectors in Saskatchewan;
• Knowledge of human resource management practices, including methods related to strategic workforce planning;
• The ability to work with colleagues, employers, industry associations and third parties to develop positive working relationships and establish partnerships;
• Experience in designing research methodologies (e.g., surveys, focus groups, interviews, literature reviews) and applying appropriate statistical and analytical techniques; and
• The ability to analyze relevant data to identify trends and issues and develop recommendations.

Typically, the competencies for this position would be obtained through a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree and related work experience.
