The Dispute Resolution Office, Ministry of Justice and Attorney General, is seeking a highly organized, motivated, energetic and service-oriented individual as the Administrative Coordinator for the following province-wide branch programs: Family Mediation, Family Matters: Assisting Families through Separation and Divorce, Fee for Service Mediation, and Conflict Resolution Training.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the initial intake with family mediation clients who may be highly emotional and may be resistant to the mediation process. The initial intake process includes collecting financial information and an initial assessment on the presence of interpersonal violence.

Typically, the competencies required in this position would be obtained through training in office administration, combined with several years of administrative support experience. Experience serving families would be an asset.

Hours of Work: A – SGEU Office 36 – one day off every two weeks
