The Ministry of SaskBuilds and Procurement, Administrative Services Branch is seeking an individual to join their team to provide administrative and clerical support for the Central Mail/File Room at the SaskBuilds & Procurement’s head office in Regina. This position reports to the Supervisor, Administrative Services. The duties will include typing, data entry, processing invoices, handling general inquiries, filing, and reception duties.

You will have the ability to create, format, and edit a variety of electronic documents. You will also have the ability to accurately code, verify, reconcile and safeguard cash or financial records in accordance with guidelines while maintaining confidentiality. You will be able to provide clear, concise and accurate information and/or explanations in a manner appropriate to the audience, and understand and accurately apply polices and guidelines to daily operations.
Your knowledge of applicable computer hardware and software applications and attention to detail will contribute to your success.
You will have knowledge of:
relevant legislation, regulations, acts, agreements, policies, and/or procedures;
general accounting principles;
government purchasing and payment practices; and
knowledge of word processing, databases, and/or spreadsheet software.
You will have demonstrated the ability to:
accurately create, format, and edit a variety of electronic documents;
provide clear, concise, and accurate information and/or explanations in a manner appropriate to the audience;
understand and accurately apply policies and guidelines to daily operations; and
accurately code, verify, reconcile, and safeguard cash or financial records in accordance with guidelines while maintaining confidentiality.
