The Training and Employer Services Division within the Ministry of Immigration and Career Training (ICT) provides training and workforce solutions to develop, recruit, and retain a skilled and diverse workforce.
The Client Service and Talent Sourcing unit within the Division is seeking dynamic, competent, and highly motivated individuals to assume the role of Client Service Advisor in a fast paced, ever-changing environment that makes effective and efficient client service our top priority.
In this client-centered role you will:
Interpret and assess employer sourcing, recruitment, and retention issues to provide value-added advice and support related to available tools and programming;
Respond to client inquiries and provide support, advice and direction to clients accessing Saskjobs.ca/National Job Bank services;
Assess employer advertisement submissions for publication on SaskJobs.ca/National Job Bank, ensuring alignment of content with policy and guidelines;
Provide operational support to the delivery of Employer Services programs designed to offer workforce solutions to Saskatchewan employers;
Conduct research on assigned topics, inclusive of determining appropriate sources of information and assessing and collating findings; and
Help to create and embed a culture of client-centered service into our team. This will require a one team mindset that values respect, integrity, health and well-being, innovation, and continuous improvement.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Strengths in spelling; grammar, and communication skills to draft and proofread documents.
Knowledge of theories and methods related to assessment of talent sourcing and recruitment issues and concerns.
Advanced knowledge and skill related to computer software applications such as Microsoft Office and various databases, video conference equipment, communication tools and general office equipment.
Knowledge of the specific ministry programs and policies. This includes knowledge of clients and stakeholders, and program issues in need of examination and/or analysis.
Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with a diverse group of stakeholders such as employers, job seekers and general members of the public to ensure full understanding of issues and concerns before providing advice.
The ability to assess and identify relevant programming options, consider a variety of approaches, and determine and implement an appropriate course of action in alignment with existing policy and guidelines.
The ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and balance a diverse and demanding workload with frequent interruptions.
Confidence to recommend policy and process modifications that continually enhance services to stakeholders; and
Comfort with working independently while remaining one-team and client focused.

Typically, the knowledge and abilities required for this position are obtained through completion of a diploma program in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
