General Summary
This position is responsible for assisting the office management team with various administrative tasks to ensure a productive and efficient office environment.
Essential Job Accountabilities
- Create and maintain accurate files for various departments to help facilitate accurate document control.
- Copy and distribute various documents to proper owner to ensure timely communication.
- Distribution and destruction of confidential Company documents to ensure company privacy is protected.
- Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of work areas including but not limited to; reception area, mailroom and file room.
- Print and distribute reports on a weekly, monthly and as needed to ensure efficiency.
- Input and data entry may include hourly timecards, editing and batching accounts payable invoices to ensure accuracy.
- Performance of receptionist duties (depending on location) which may include: answering, screening and directing calls; taking messages; greeting and assisting visitors; maintaining Outlook calendars; receiving packages and mail; preparing outgoing packages and mail.
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Work Experience
- 0-2 years experience in office environment preferred.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- JD Edwards World/One World (preferred)
- 10 key by touch
- Internet navigation
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit and use hands to operate a computer keyboard. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus. Base Salary Range:
$28,676.00 – $43,014.00
Pay may vary based upon relevant experience, skills, location, and education among other factors.
