The role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Human Resources team as a Talent Sourcer – ‘Insights and Attraction’ for Experienced Hire Recruitment. Working closely with the Recruitment Business Partners, this role provides highly ambitious and motivated candidates with the opportunity to become a key part of an established team. This will be both a challenging and fulfilling opportunity with the potential to develop your range of skills significantly in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
Develop a deep understanding of Grant Thornton, including business strategy and team dynamics
Translate hiring manager brief into recruitment strategy, with a ‘direct first’ approach (understanding skills and phasing requirements)
Responsible for finding, interpreting and presenting market intelligence from a range of sources, such as competitor analysis, location strategy, skills analysis, to deliver recruitment insights
Own and drive sourcing methods to build and sustain a strong talent pipeline, optimising the numerous recruitment tools available
Candidate engagement – qualify the candidate through a short phone screen (salary; notice period; ‘push and pull’ factors; motiving factors)
Develop talent pipelines for future hiring needs
Measure conversion rates, including numbers of passive candidates who turn into applicants, get invited to interviews, get offers and get hired; working to agreed scorecard, targets, KPIs
Leverage the extensive digital, social media and physical channels available to create, drive and maintain our employment brand presence
Creative problem solving, bringing a point of view to all interactions with clients and the Talent Acquisition team
