As part of the Children and Young Peoples Gender Dysphoria Service (CYP GDS) development, the Associate Director of Education role has been established for the development, leadership, thinking and analysis of a new national CYP GDS education and training programme.
Working closely with the Clinical and Operational Leads at each of the commissioned Trusts, the Senior Responsible Officer and NHS England, this role will provide the strategic and educational leadership to deliver a national CYP GDS Education and Training Programme.
Through overseeing the key programmes of work across the CYP GDS Education and Training Programme, the Associate Director of Education will hold overall responsibility for monitoring the scope and progress for all strands of the education and training programme on behalf of NHS England to ensure programme milestones are met.
