Referral Team Leader

• Full time position, based in our National Support Office – Hutt Valley
• Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm

A Referral Team Leader contributes to the delivery of our home-based support service by:

• Providing administrative support to manage and distribute referrals nationally for Access and sub-contractors by leading day to day operations
• Engaging with funders/NASC’s around potential new/ceased packages, increase or a change in package.
• Liaise with the local regional staff to ensure supports can be provided
• Respond to funder and client enquiries regarding eligibility

• Assist to Identify, implement and review workflow to improve communication and the effectiveness of the referral process.

• Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills
• Strong decision maker with the ability to problem solve creatively and strategically
• Excellent planning and prioritising skills when under pressure
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Is sensitive to issues relating to equity; people with disability, cultural & social needs.
• Ability to lead and support a wider team in individual development
