The Doctors Phoenix

A well established family general medical practice, in a centrally located purpose-built clinic, with modern and attractive facilities. We have seven general practitioners and a dedicated team of practice nurses. We provide quality individual and family health care, with a focus on the importance of a strong relationship between patient and healthcare provider.

We now have an opening in our busy medical centre. This is a permanent position working 20 hours per week across Monday to Friday. Plus additional hours as agreed.

What you will be doing

• Greeting patients on arrival and checking them in
• Answering incoming telephone calls
• Booking appointments on phone and in person
• Invoicing and collecting fees from patients
• Other Administrative tasks

What we are looking for

• Experience in administration and working in teams
• Ability to work under pressure and assist a diversity of patients
• Exposure to MedTech 32 is desirable, training will be given if needed
• Proficient computer skills
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to use initiative

The successful applicant will be flexible with hours, methodical with a systems orientation, and have a good head for numbers as well as good people skills. Previous medical centre receptionist experience is preferred. Experience with Medtech 32 is an advantage.
