If you are interested in the position of Engineering Geologist, you should ideally have previous experience scoping and running small to medium-sized ground investigations. It would be best if you were building on your understanding of the local ground conditions, sampling collection methods, drilling techniques, logging, test pitting, lab scheduling, OH&S, proposal writing, project management, building ground models, and report writing of basic factual and interpretative reports. Exposure to construction support would be beneficial, too.
Preferably, you should hold a BE (Civil) or ME (Geotechnical) to be considered for this role. Here is an excellent opportunity if you are energised by being part of a larger team and working on various projects in New Zealand and potentially Australia.
