What You Will Do :
Senior Consultants help our healthcare clients transform their business processes, improve efficiency and operations, increase transparency and performance management, and comply with Federal laws and regulations. As a Senior Consultant, you will have responsibility for client management, solution implementation, and overall delivery. You will be relied upon for a project workstreams and interact with healthcare clients to ensure engagement success. This includes supporting day-to-day operational meetings with clients and consulting leaders. Senior Consultants are expected to prepare and communicate well-organized, effective reports and presentations to client and internal executives.

As a Senior Consultant, you will work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and healthcare experience, helping our healthcare clients solve complex clinical and business issues from strategy to execution.
Specific responsibilities include:
• Proactively assist in delivery of engagement activities and manage completion of deliverables
• Work independently, with minimal supervision, and partner with others to develop relationships across engagement team
• Lead one or more tasks / work streams within a client engagement, overseeing individual contributions as well as the work of additional engagement staff
• Guide client and internal subject matter expert conversations towards effective outcomes
• Identify and mitigate projects risks around scope, schedule, and quality, effectively escalating to engagement leadership
• Develop strategies to solve complex clinical, technical, and operational challenges for our healthcare clients
• Actively support business development activities to help identify, research, and pursue opportunities for new / existing clients
• Contribute to development of team’s industry acumen and capabilities through contribution to internal firm initiatives
Additional responsibilities include:
• Perform technical and process analyses; data collection; spreadsheet creation and management
• Provide detailed fact finding, research, and analysis to identify and recommend enhancements to continuously improve client operations
• Assess health industry trends to inform clients on leading practices and drive continued transformation efforts
• Develop transformation strategies to inform clients’ long-range strategic planning efforts
• Communicate solutions and new strategies to clients through reports and presentations
What You Will Need :
· 3+ years of management consulting experience in the healthcare industry
· A thorough understanding of the healthcare industry with a passion for improving it
· Organizational and project management skills, with the ability to work as part of a team and prioritize resources and time effectively
· Experience maintaining project timelines and contribute to project reporting
· Experience leading one or more tasks / work streams within a client engagement, overseeing individual contributions as well as the work of additional engagement staff
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all levels of business, including experience writing reports and client/public-facing documents as well as communicating complex concepts effectively through Microsoft PowerPoint
· Comfort with quantitative analysis in Microsoft Excel and ability to translate analysis findings
· Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and develop successful professional relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
· Ability to create clear and compelling presentations for clients on complex topics
· Direct experience with data analytics
What Would Be Nice To Have :
· Ability to transform large data sets into display outputs utilizing Excel, Tableau/PowerBI, R, Python
· Experience with the Department of Veterans Affairs or Military Health
· Federal and commercial consulting experience
· Masters Degree in business or a health care related field
· Military Veteran or Military Spouse
The annual salary range for this position is $86,100.00-$172,300.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
