We are a close-knit group that works together to provide the bestservice to both new and existing customers.The Purchasing Agent/Inventory Controller is responsible for procuringmerchandise for resale, and for inventory management. The PurchasingAgent/Inventory Controller negotiates with vendors to obtain the bestpricing, delivery and terms of purchase to ensure optimum order fill ratesand customer satisfaction.As a Purchasing Agent/Inventory Controller with us your specific dutieswill include but are not limited to:Analyze product on hand and projected product sales. Create vendor PurchaseOrders to maintain the right product mix, optimum shelf quantities, andsatisfy projected product sales.Meet or exceed the Profit Center targets for fill rate/service levels,annual inventory turns, and slow-moving/devalued inventory as set forth bythe Profit Center Manager.Perform daily cycle counts.
