Permanent opportunity for a Qualified Gardener to join a growing team in Whangarei.

A Kiwi owned, community centric company that builds, operates, maintains and renews New Zealand’s social infrastructure. They are now looking for a Qualified Gardener to join their team in Whangarei.

Your new role

Your main duty will be to be responsible for the parks and gardens maintenance activities on a scheduled basis. Some of your tasks will be:

• Lay new gardens from plans
• Maintain grounds to specification
• Monitor plant health
• Promote optimum display
• Operate and maintain small plant and equipment

What you’ll need to succeed

• Full Class 1 license (Class 2 License will be a bonus)
• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar position
• Certificate in Amenity Horticulture
• Growsafe certificate (bonus)
• Approved handler’s certificate
• First Aid certificate
