Due to new product development and anticipated growth in 2024, they are on the lookout for a Financial Analyst to join on a permanent full-time basis.

Your new role

The focus is to ensure the company meets its financial targets through efficient financial management, forecasting and reporting with presentation of those results back to shareholders and senior managers in a meaningful manner. Your day-to-day activities will include:

• Financial budget, forecasting, reporting and operational metrics tracking
• Analysis of financial data and preparing financial models to support decision-making
• Assist in reporting on financial performance and regular leadership reviews
• Evaluate financial performance by comparing actual results with plans, budgets and forecasts
• Analyse past results, perform variance analysis and identify trends to make recommendations
• Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
• Creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools and Excel dashboards
• Perform market research, data mining and data analysis, lead BI implementation

What you’ll need to succeed

ESSENTIAL

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Maths or IT
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written
• Minimum 2 years’ of proven financial analyst experience

PREFERRED

• CA, CPA, CIMA, CFA qualified (or equivalent)
• Fluent in both English and Mandarin
• Big 4 or FMCG / Manufacturing industry experience
