As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for day-to-day warehouse operations receiving material shipments into the warehouse, as well as pulling/prepping/securing materials for shipping of scheduled jobs. This position is physical in nature and is deemed heavy work (as defined under Qualifications).

• Load/unload freight onto/from containers and trailers.

• Verify inbound deliveries against manifests to verify product and quantity accuracy.

• Utilize RF Scanners to pick and/or pack customer orders ensuring accuracy of type and quantity of all components.

• Select and construct appropriate packaging materials to ensure safe transport of product to final destination.

• Utilize RF Scanners, Computers and scales to process orders for shipment.

• Maintain facility equipment by performing daily safety inspections and monitoring power supply.

• Comply with all OSHA and MSDS standards

• Perform stock counts.

• Maintain a clean, neat and safe work area.

• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Required:

-High School Graduate or GED Equivalent

-Ability to lift and/or move upwards of 50 pounds throughout the work day.

-Capable of sitting, standing and walking for extended periods of time.

-Ability to read work orders, pick lists, and/or assimilate verbal work instructions.

Preferred:

-Prior warehouse operations experience.

-Prior powered material handling equipment experience and/or certifications.
