We are currently looking for an empathetic and caring person with a genuine desire to commence a career in caregiving within our Community and Rehabilitation services.
This is a part-time position – 20 hours per fortnight involving some alernate weekend work. Shifts are typically three to four hours long, morning’s, afternoon’s or evenings between the hours of 7am to 8pm.
What does a Support Worker do?
As part of a wider team, you will assist our clients to live as independently as possible, within their homes and community. You will help our clients to achieve their goals and reach their potential, through both practical and emotional support.
Responsibilities can be varied and you will follow a care plan, which may include some or all of the below:
