Healthy Planet Canada Hiring For Stock Associate at Scarborough, ON Full Time
Healthy Planet is looking for a full-time stock associate to assist with the overall operations of the store by
receiving/distributing products in addition to maintaining the cleanliness of departments throughout the store.
Responsibilities
-
Compare merchandise invoices to items actually received to ensure that shipments are correct
-
Design and set up displays of merchandise on shelves, counters and/or tables
-
Receive, open, unpack and issue sales floor merchandise
-
Stock shelves with new or transferred merchandise
-
Take inventory or examine merchandise to identify items that are damaged and need to be reordered/replenished
-
Maintain cleanliness of displays, cases, shelves and aisles
-
Answer customers’ questions about merchandise and advise customers on the selection available pertaining to their needs
-
Move stock from trucks to produce area and ensure the area is clean/organized
-
Prepare product to be stocked on the shelves or in the coolers
-
Use the handheld POS system to retrieve items
Requirements
-
1-3 years experience in produce retail environment
-
High school diploma or equivalent
-
Strong attention to detail
-
Excellent communication both written and verbal
-
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
-
Must be able to work in a face paced environment

Must be open to working a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
