As a result, the company now works with some of the largest, most successful online retailers in the USA. The edge that the company still promotes is a long list of unique products and the skills necessary to manage and refine Drop-Shipping services for these retailers.Today, HH, LLC has a small staff, a great team who wear many hats during a typically productive day. It is a casual environment, and everyone supports their fellow team player in every way possible. Health insurance, flexibility for family needs, and a competitive wage are all part of the package.The company observes the primary National holidays.The position currently available requires a multi-faceted Bookkeeper/Accounting person to manage flows of data for the basics like Receivable, Payable, Payroll, Inventory, Taxes, etc. There are also activities like Budgets, Commissions, Royalties, PTO, Import Duties, and so on. It is a small business with all the workings one would expect for a 20+ year old organization. Hours will vary from 30-40 per week based on seasonal demands. • Receive incoming funds, prepare/make deposits
• Post discounts and Co-op funds discounted from payment
• Monitor routinely, past dues and call for payment
• Distribute necessary statements EOM
• Write/prepare invoices to assist Customer Service
• Reconcile and update all credit card sales/receipts 4-times monthly relative to online Merchant Services reporting
• Create/post Royalty and Commission statements monthly based on previous month’s cash received
• Receive/post returned merchandise & apply account credits

Accounts Payable

• Reconcile expense with PO/expense statement
• Reconcile CC statements with expense reports/receipts
• Input bill and/or item receipts into QuickBooks (if there is a discrepancy, solve it)
• Prepare payments for signature attached to billing
• Create Royalty and Commission statements 2 weeks prior to due dates

Payroll

• Prepare semi-monthly payroll, taxes/payments via Gusto
• Prepare corresponding simple IRA for above
• Monthly P&L/Balance Sheet sent to CPA (created by 20th of the month following)
• Monthly/Quarterly Royalty statements/payments per product TWISTEP, TruckStep etc.

Inventory

• Receive goods and document discrepancies as noted by receiving dept
• Assist warehouse with actual cycle counts
• Optimize QuickBooks for inventory and cost tracking
• Review costs and adjust selling price with sales

Reporting

• Monthly/Quarterly/Annual tax reports & payments (940, 941, B&O, L&I, Sales, etc.) via Gusto
• Monthly P&L/Balance Sheet sent to CPA (created by 20th of the month following)
• Monthly/Quarterly Royalty statements/payments per product TWISTEP, TruckStep etc.

Administration

• Reconcile bank accounts weekly, re-evaluate and finalize monthly
• Maintain all related files in a timely manner
• Identify inefficient routines and improve procedures
• Communicate with HH-CPA for guidance and direction
• Maintain a well-organized work area

Experience for the ideal candidate will include:

• Bookkeeping/Accounting experience in a for-profit business
• Proficient QuickBooks Desktop use for 3-5 years
• Supervisor/management/leadership experience
• Inventory accounting/management experience
• Washington State Employment Reporting experience
• Skilled in Microsoft programs (Excel mastery)
• Budget development and management
• Accounting degree is a plus
